Old-Style and Sean-nós Dancing

Irish old-style step and sean-nós dance is regaining popularity as a social and enjoyable pastime for everyone. This weekend course will introduce participants to popular dances and give an insight into the music and dance tradition in Ireland.

This fun and active course is suitable for beginners and improvers and will introduce participants to the jig, reel and include the Ulster dance Maggie Pickie, as well as the best of Donegal couple dances. At the end of the course, you will have more confidence to take part in music sessions and to take the next steps in progressing your solo and group dancing skills.
