Getting to Gleann Fhinne

Participants should travel to Ballybofey, 8 miles from Coimín, by Bus Éireann on Saturday.

From DublinBus Éireann coaches depart hourly from Dublin Airport (Atrium Stop 7) to Donegal Town. Both Bus Éireann & McGeehan’s coaches also depart from Busáras, Store Street going directly to Donegal Town. In Donegal Town, connect with Galway-Derry Express and get off at Ballybofey.

From BelfastGet Bus to Strabane and connect to Stranorlar/Ballybofey.

On arrival in Ballybofey, go to Jackson’s Hotel. You will be collected there by an Oideas Gael representative. He/She will call regularly to the Hotel from 16.00 onwards on the Saturday at the beginning of each course.

Driving

From Ballybofey, take the Glenties road for 4 miles; at a sharp right bend you will see a minor road going on straight (there is an old church between both roads) and take this towards Coimín. Oideas Gael is based at Coimín National School. (approx. 8 miles from Ballybofey).
